We are in February and at my local McDonald's, everyone laughed with I asked who keep their resolution on January 1. I proposed a different Resolution ... Start with a daily, or a weekly, or a monthly Resolution. Using SMART Resolution.
Instead of trying to reach 15 goals all at one time, do 1 at a time.
The acronym SMART means Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-based.
Example of a SMART Goal: I want to walk 5 miles by my summer vacation in 20 weeks so my vacation will be fun and not so exhausting.
This SMART Goal / Resolution is good, the only thing missing is DETAILS.
Decide to walk everywhere you can. Decide to walk to a place several times a day just like you would on vacation. When you walk the first week .3 mile, the second week .6 mile, the third week .9 mile .. etc. With no hiccups, you will be walking 5 miles before the 20 weeks.
I started in February I am trying one thing, #NOOM. After a month, I will add a new SMART Resolution, I hope you will do the same. By the end of the year, we will have completed several long term and short term goals.
