What does the Bible say?

Positive Bible Verses (KJV):

Philippians 4
v4: Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
v6: Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
v8: Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
V13: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

We go about our lives, thank God for everything positive.  As we go, look for the positive.  As we go, ask God to give the strength to be positive and helpful.  When we do not have the strength to be positive, Christ does.

Jeremiah 29
v11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

As we go about our lives, hard times will be a part of our lives.  Our attitude toward these hard times shows our true colors.  It is easy to be positive and kind in good times.  When you are positive and kind in the hard times, that is your true character … your true mental and moral qualities distinctive.

Ephesians 4
v31: Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice
v32:  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Why do people feel like they have to be BRUTALLY HONEST?  These verses do not mean for us to BRUTALLY HONEST, but to be LOVINGLY HONEST.  BRUTAL means savagely violent, the person intends to cause more pain to wound. LOVING means showing great care, the person intends to heal the wound.  When someone hurts you, how do you confront them … negatively or positively.  If you are hurting so bad that all you can be is hurtful towards them, wait.

Matthew 15
V11: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

Is the language, our words, positive and blessings?  Defiles mean to soil / to make dirty, to profane / to loot, or to rape / to remove value.  The words we say do have life and that life blesses us or cruse us.
